Had an awesome free lunch today compliments of the Mastercard Food Truck Feast. For the next couple of Thursdays, several food trucks are circulating through different key locations through NYC blessing the patrons with free grub. How awesome is that? All you have to do is tweet #pricelessNY or like Mastercard on facebook and show that on your smartphone at the trucks. It’s as simple as that. Luckily for me, I had the chance to try out the cheesy delight of Morris Grilled Cheese, as well as, the delectable sausages of Bistro Truck. I definitely look forward to next weeks selections of fine food truck edibles.

I’m always on the hunt for great eats. Decided to stop by Mrs. Maxwells on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn this evening for some sweet treats to satisfy my craving. I was totally surprised at not only the selection but the amazingly low prices for their on the premises baked goods. This is a decadent Napolean cake, made of a light yet creamy filling with flaky pastry layered in between. We also picked up a 7” Pineapple coconut layer cake to indulge in later this evening. I’ll report back and let you know how it went….
